Just a few hours ago, Bloomberg.com along with various other news media announced that Starbucks Corp. will eliminate as many as 12,000 jobs as close to 600 coffee shops across the U.S. close their doors. Starbucks is not the first, nor will it be the last of the many companies that will be forced to eliminate jobs in order to survive this dismal economic state that exists today.
