I picked this link up on twitter and felt the need to share it.  For me, I found what Gary Vaynerchuk had to say as motivational, inspiring and “real.”

Be forewarned, if you are easily offended by “adult” language – move on – curses included as he keeps it “real” and speaks from his heart.

If you do watch the video and listen to what Gary has to say and it Doesn’t make you think – Watch It Again!

There are many good tips to take away from this video. Below I’ve listed a few of my favs. What about you? Share your favorite take aways in the comments section below.

  • Stop doing what you hate!
  • Hustle!
  • Have to have a business model!
  • Legacy is greater than currency!
  • If you don’t believe in what you’re doing, even for a ½ sec, get out now!
  • Build Brand Equity!

Spread the Word – Life is Worth Living!

Life\'s Golden Ticket Big Top Tent

My good friend, Ken McArthur is standing in a circus tent today
asking 2,000 people to spread a message of hope to teenagers who
don’t think that life is worth living.

I think it’s a great message of hope for anyone and would love to
see all of my readers think about spreading it today.

Here’s Ken’s simple message for for giving hope (and maybe saving
someone’s life!):

G – Greet and meet: talk to others, smile, say hello, ask
someone how they are doing

I – Involve yourself and others: find a cause you can support,
volunteer, pledge resources. Get the people around you
involved, especially if you see someone beginning to
withdraw. Invite them to participate in some activity, to
“get out” of their comfort zone

V – Validate others: tell others that they matter – especially
family members and friends that you tend to see daily but
may take for granted, give genuine complements

E – Empathize: be a listening ear, take time to be fully
present, don’t try to solve – just acknowledge someone’s
feeling/hurt

My Plans For The Last 100 Days of 2008

Its been over a month since my last post and during that time I have often thought about posting, started to post, and even wrote it down as a goal for the day. Yet as you can see, my blog hasn’t been updated in a while and nothing new has been posted.

So what is it that’s been holding me back?

A question I often ask myself and a question that I believe, MUST be answered and must be answered HONESTLY – if I ever want to attain my goals.

The way I see it, working from home and making money online is very possible and can be very profitable. Just be careful about how you approach it and don’t expect it to make you a millionaire over night.

In the last 10 months since turning to the internet to make money online, here are the Top 10 Difficulties I’ve discovered about myself and working from home.

1. I’m easily distracted.

2. I procrastinate.

3. I multi task to the point of being inefficient and unproductive.

4. I have too many ideas and take on too many projects.

5. I suffer from information overload and paralysis by analysis.

6. I lack direction and left to my own devices flounder.

7. I’m trying to do it all.

8. I’m not consistent.

9. I do not get a lot of offline support.

10. I’m too anal and need to let go.

So the question is “Do I continue to do what obviously isn’t working?”

Of course not, that would be insane.

With only 100 days left before the end of 2008 I have some serious work to do. I invite you to please join me over the next 100 days as I either eliminate that what isn’t working or turn it into a positive and productive action step. For I plan to close out 2008 with a BANG!

Peace and Prosperity!
