What are the drawbacks of RSS?
- The disadvantages of RSS use are brought about by its being a new technology and some user-preference concerns.
- Some users prefer receiving email updates over an RSS feed.
- Graphics and photos do not appear in all RSS feeds. For conciseness and ease of publication, RSS feeds do not display the photos from the original site in announcing the update except for some web-based aggregators
- The identity of the source website can be confusing. Since RSS feeds do not display the actual URL or name of the website, it can sometimes get confusing on what feed a user is actually reading.
- Publishers cannot determine how many users are subscribed to their feed and the frequency of their visits. Moreover, they would not know the reasons why users unsubscribe which could be important in improving their advertising.
- RSS feeds create higher traffic and demands on the server. Most readers still prefer the whole update over a brief summary of the entry, thus they still access the site.
- Since it is a new technology, some sites may not support RSS.
Stay Tuned For Part 3 - How To Start Using RSS

As an internet marketing newbie, when the names of the so called gurus are thrown your way, they really don’t mean a thing. You really don’t know at that point in time whether they are really established and successful or just saying so. And of course, you hear some names more than others. Which by the way, is NO indication of their success but rather a guage on the amount of promotion being done for that particular person.
After a while, you’ll start to learn the names and soon be able to match a name with a face and even the area of expertise. If you’re like me, you’ll start to sign up for information from all over the internet and find yourself overwhelmed with a ton of information. Some useful and most garbage. It is through this process, that the “real” gurus will outshine the “posers” and “wanna be” which should then signficantly reduce the number of lists you signed up with to a managable number.

What is RSS?
You probably have seen this three-letter acronym in the course of your internet surfing. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. Syndicating means, republishing an article that comes from another source such as a website.
An RSS is a means of publicizing updates about websites. It may or may not include a summary and photos of the latest posting. But those that provide summaries (thus Rich Site Summary) allow users to skim through the article so that they could decide later on if they want to access the website source. The RSS feed usually contains the title of the update originating from the website and is also usually the link to the website source.
What are the benefits of RSS?
RSS gives benefits to both readers (users) and web publishers.
~It gives you the latest updates.
Whether it is about the weather, new music, software upgrades, local news, or a new posting from a rarely updated sites, learn about the latest happenings as soon as it comes out.
~It saves on surfing time.
Since an RSS feed provides a summary of the related article, it saves the user’s time by helping s/he decide on which items to prioritize when reading or browsing the net.

Do you put off your work for later, only to find your deadlines steadily approaching and your stress mounting? Then you, my friend, are one of the millions of people, like me, afflicted by the procrastination syndrome. Procrastination is the biggest reason for loss of productivity and late output. Though many would not admit it, they would benefit greatly if they would just stop procrastinating and take action – Overcome Procrastination That’s Stealing Your Life’s Potential …
I’ve fallen behind on my posts and general marketing because I’ve allowed myself to get distracted by information overload. I’ve tried multi task thinking I’ll get more accomplished, only to find out at the end of the day I’m rather unproductive. What I’ve realized over the last few weeks is that losing focus and falling prey to everyday distractions is procrastination in disguise and that sticking to a plan always proves to be more productive. Avoid and Overcome Procrastination
For many people, putting off their work for later is more habit than desire. It can be so hard to get into a groove where starting your tasks in a timely fashion is a priority; especially if the consequences for being late are things that one can easily bear. Two main reasons we procrastinate . . .

Article directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline/resource box placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.
Articles directories are a great place to put your articles so that they drive traffic to your website and at the end of the day make you money. Article Marketing is a highly effective marketing strategy that yields a high ROI. People who are interested in your product or service will search for information, see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and hopefully visit your website. Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example if you run an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you. Getting quality articles written will incur a fee, but there are plenty of ghostwriters for hire and the fees will vary depending on what you are requesting. In the long run, they will pay for themselves in no time either through affiliate sales or selling your own services, and everything from then on is pure profit. Read the rest of this entry

The doors to My Internet Business have been open for just over 2 weeks and all I can say is that it has totally exceeded my expectations. My head is still spinning with all that this business has to offer and my heart is still dancing with enthusiasm. While I expect the head spinning to calm down the more familiar I get with all that is available to me, I predict I’ll be dizzy for a long time before this is all over.
After all, this is only the first phase of a scheduled “6″ yes I said, “SIX” planned phases. I can’t even begin to imagine what Darren Gaudry and his Team will come up with for the other phases of this business.
I realize it is way too early in the game, but does anyone care to take a guess at what they think the next phase may bring to the table? Go ahead let’s hear what you think – Just leave your guess in the comment section below.
As far as my dancing heart – the beat goes on and the music never stops. And heck, who needs music to dance anyway!
As a woman who is guided by morals and values based on trust, honesty, and being true to myself, My Internet Business has made it real easy for me. You see, I don’t need to do any real hard selling as the business opportunity will sell itself. The compensation plan allows me to put cash in my pocket on my very first sale and will continue to pay me a residual income. There is a State of the Art Multimedia Training Center and a products area so large that they utilize a search engine and continue to add products regularly.
My Internet Business didn’t hold anything back when they built this business. They’ve leveled the playing field so that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed online. The features are so amazing and so abundant that I’m sure it sounds like a bunch of hype and B.S.
If you have any doubts, I’ll put my mouse where my mouth is and encourage you to take the tour and experience it for yourself. Take your time, read the content, click all the links and really look at what this business has to offer. Then if you have any questions click the “blue” button to request a call back. Or if you’re like me and know a good thing when you see it and ready to move forward, click on the “green” button to join now!
Don’t forget to take a guess at what you think Darren and his Team will bring to the business in the next phase by leaving a comment below.

So you want to blog to get traffic to your site? Then you will need to know a little about blogging. Here are some important tips to remember when blogging for your business.
~ Make it interesting and informative. Make sure your posts offer information on your business, what your business offers, and informative posts regarding the art of your business in general. Keep it interesting and be sure to include something of value. If the reader feels they got something out of your post, you can be sure they will return for more.
~ Be consistent and post frequently but not at the price of quality. Posting daily may get your blog noticed quicker, but even if you don’t post as often, if you consistently include quality content your blog will still grow accordingly.
~ Offer them an incentive. Offer your readers a free newsletter or report in exchange for their name and email address. This is a great way to build a list and at the same time increase your blog reader numbers.
~ RSS, think RSS! Many blog readers do not actually visit the blog every day. They subscribe to the RSS feeds of the blog. This blogging tactic can be used across the board by all bloggers. The easier your posts are to locate, the more people that will read them.
Blogging is an effective and popular method of marketing that has a high Return On Investment (ROI). Many marketers choose to use blogs to drive more customers and more business to their site. These blogs often offer expert opinions and knowledge that visitors are looking for on the Internet. You can get started blogging by setting up a free blog at sites such as, wordpress.com and blogger.com.
For all those real observant readers who might be questioning why I haven’t followed my own advice on offering an incentive to my readers, it’s in the works. This is all a learning process for me and I can only learn and do so much in a day. But it’s in the works and I hope to have it up soon. If you keep coming back to read my content you’ll soon see what I have to offer.

As your blog’s content increases, people in your niche will hopefully mention you for intelligent or interesting discussions. If this starts to happen, consider it an initiation for an interaction and thank them for the mention and continue to build upon the connection.
When you use a traffic script such as the free www.statcounter.com, you can actually see where your traffic is coming from. If a large number of visitors come from a certain blog, there is a good chance that they have mentioned you in their latest posts or linked to you from their sidebar or links page. if that’s the case, then I suggest you pay them a visit, leave constructive comments on their posts and build up a conversation. It’s been 3 days now since Darren Gaudry and his Team opened the doors to MyInternetBusiness.com. Due to the delayed release many were sitting by their computers anxiously waiting to receive the email that would grant us permission to begin promoting to the world.
And when the doors opened . . . the masses stormed the internet with a push of a button to send out their ready and waiting websites, videos, ads, and every other promotional media.
So was it worth the wait? After seeing what MyInternetBusiness is all about, I would have waited half a lifetime – as I’d like the other half to enjoy all that I will be gaining from this unbelievable opportunity. Even as a new online marketer, I can easily see the potential this business has to offer. I have no doubt in my mind, that my life as I know it now will never be the same and all that lies ahead is beyond my wildest dreams.
Forget about the impressive products, compensation plan – passive and residual income, state of the art media training, or the fact that there is NO qualification period. That’s right, YOU make money on your very first sale! And if that’s not enough, they focus and offer training on ”mindset.” This for me is far more important than anything else in this totally comprehensive business.
Your mindset will ultimately determine what happens to you in life – good or bad. To know a business cares that much about my success to include it in their focus and training is to me – Priceless!! Thank you Darren and Team!

Just wanted to keep you up-to-date with the latest news – I just sat in on a webinar conference offered to the foundation members of MyInternetBusiness.com where Dareen Gaudry and some Team members took us on a tour though the back office. Here they gave us a glimpse of the presentation videos, products, and everything else that will be made available in the back office.
All I can say is that there are No words that could possibly describe with any degree of accuracy, what is being offered in this business opportunity without sounding like hype. The truth is, It’s just too damn comprehensive for words to do it justice. This is something that will best be understood only by experiencing it. Take the tour, watch the videos, read, and ask questions. Be active and you’ll see what I mean.
Sorry for continuing to dangle the bait, but even if I could tell you all that I know about MyInternetBusiness.com, chances are you wouldn’t believe me! So just hold on tight for the next few hours or so and ALL will be revealed.
